About the job
The role of the Cocoa Commodity Analyst – Field Resarch is to:

• Develop and communicate global cocoa production forecasts to global buyers, implement deeper data analytics methodologies and processes to improve lead times and accuracy of cocoa production forecasts globally
• The role will consist of quantitative analysis and forecasting. Data inputs will be collected and managed by members of the cocoa field research team.
• This associate will need to work closely with cocoa origin teams to compile Insights and data. Analysis and forecasts will be communicated to Sr. Cocoa Sourcing managers and Directors, as well as Sr. Leaders on occasion.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Agriculture, or Data Science
• Ability to travel internationally up to 15% of the time
• Experienced in statistical forecasting, data analysis
• Experience with programming and data analytics tools - mySQL, Microsoft PowerBI & PowerApps, advanced excel, QGIS preferred
• Preferred experience with cocoa
• Is able to communicate complex analysis to a broad, diverse audience

What will be your key responsibilities?

• This role’s key responsibilities enable business units to successfully manage price and supply risk management for the largest raw material spend within Mars Wrigley.
• On the analytical side of the role, this person is responsible for cocoa field data management, forecast analysis, and implementing deeper analytics and processes for cocoa forecasting.
