Qualification Required & Experience

A person seeking appointment as Dean of the above Faculties and Schools must:

•  Be an acclaimed academic, researcher in his/her field with significant contribution to higher education and industry, as well as contribution to the intellectual and professional reputation of his/her University of Institution
•  Show leadership, high quality sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, precision and professionalism in the discharge of his or her duties
•  Have been appointed as Professor / Associate Professor / Senior Lecturer in the relevant discipline in an accredited tertiary institution in Ghana or elsewhere
•  Have a PhD in the relevant field of specialization
•  Show evidence of capacity for continuous research and dissemination of knowledge through technology transfer and publications
•  Have extensive publications in peer reviewed journals and other academic databases
•  Must have served as a Coordinator, Head of Department, Director, Vice Dean and or a Dean in a tertiary institution or an analogues institution
•  Be a member of a recognized professional body in his or her field and
•  Be computer literate
