DS Construction Limited manufactures & designs innovative, high-quality architectural balustrades, handrails and custom structures and features and is seeking an experienced Welding Fabricator and Installer who has attention to detail and the ability to produce precision-made stainless steel, aluminium and steel components and structures.
This is a full-time, permanent position and is available for an immediate start (will wait for notice periods as required).
Welds stainless steel, aluminium, and steel components in both our factory workshops (architectural & mining products).
Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
Cuts, polishes, grinds all metals for precision fabrication
Welds metal parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes.
Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.
Works occasionally on building sites to install and weld balustrade handrails and other architectural structures including gates and fences.
Qualifications & experience
Welding Certificate 1st or 2nd Class or at least 5-10 years work experience.
