    Financial Reporting Manager

    About The Job

    Job description:
    We are looking for a dynamic Financial Reporting Manager to join the Ghana Team. 

    • This individual will be responsible for preparing, analyzing and presenting timely and accurate set of financial reports in accordance with the organisation’s procedures and best practice. He/she will collate, manage and coordinate the intra department flow of information to ensure that monthly management reports are completed as per the internal process and to the set timetable.
    • The individual will also be responsible for carrying out a full review of monthly, quarterly, annual and other ad hoc performance reports of the company.
    • She/He will assist the business to prepare business cases and analysis, budgets & forecast and ensure appropriate budgetary controls are implemented.

    Role Responsibilities
    As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be required to:

    • Assist and hold delegation for Finance Director and help manage the finance team to deliver departmental objectives.
    • Manage overall Financial Planning, Analysis, Forecasting and Reporting including preparation and communication for all management financial reporting
    • Collates, manages and coordinates the intra department flow of information to ensure that monthly management reports are completed as per the internal process and the set HQ timetable.
    • Responsible for carrying out a full preparation of monthly management accounts of company with particular focus on;
    • Profit and Loss, Balance sheet
    • Fixed assets control and depreciation
    • Inventory control
    • Processing and reconciling inter and intra company accounts
    • Project Analysis, ensuring monthly, quarterly and yearly movements are fully explained with relevant back up data for all stakeholders, both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Coordinate the local finance team and collaborate with CBO to ensure accurate monthly Balance sheet reconciliation is prepared and kept ready at all time for any internal or third party review.

    Manage and support the company’s dealings with both internal and external stakeholders such as;

    • Internal auditors
    • External auditors
    • External consultants
    • Perform actual vs. budget analysis; highlighting possible deviations well in advance to management
    • Propose and lead finance improvement projects, making recommendation for relevant training, performance improvement program etc.
    • Take up any other assignments by Finance Director

    Requirements for the Role;
    To succeed in the role, you will be/will have:

    • Minimum 5 Years’ relevant experience in Accounting
    • Qualified Accountant with a recognized Accountancy Body or relevant finance professional qualification
    • Accounting, Finance or related degree as a minimum
    • Experience working in a large organisation/listed organisation.
    • Accounting Professional Membership
    • Corporate Governance in Accounting

    • IFRS financial reporting and Accounting
    • Enterprise Recourse Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP

    • Internal and external auditors/consultants engagement and management
