Full Stack Web Developer at Kola Market

Duties/Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web applications and backend services
• Take ownership of designing, coding, debugging, and testing software applications
• Identify opportunities for improving the company’s product based on data, research, and insights
• Build scalable, efficient, and well-documented stacks
• Work with APIs and data sources per the requirements
• Code unit testing to guarantee bug-free, dependable, and optimal user experience
• Put in place security procedures that are consistent with overall security goals

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
• Experience working with and building APIs for web applications
• Extensive experience working with PHP (Laravel / Symphony) and MySQL
• Experience working with VueJS or similar frameworks for frontend development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• A problem-solving attitude, analytic talents, and excellent technical and communication skills
• Strong debugging abilities and understanding of quality assurance techniques

Pluses

• Expertise in Laravel
• Experience with Vue
• Experience contributing to Open Source (provide Github, Bitbucket, etc. for reference)
• Experience working remotely and delivering excellent work
