    Head of School – (Primary & JHS)

    SOS Children’s Villages Ghana is a child welfare organisation that provides a stable Family-like (FLC) for children in need.

    We also provide social services for families at risk through our family strengthening projects. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and dynamic persons for appointment as: Head of School – (Primary & JHS)

    Qualification Required & Experience

    • A first Degree in Education, a postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage
    • Minimum grade of Assistant Director in the GES plus 5 years experience in the service or 5 years as Head of a private educational institution
    • Must be highly organised, efficient, able to work indepedently, use initiative and meet deadlines
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are absolutely essential
    • The ideal candidate should have strong organisational skills, school management skills, ability to write proposals and be computer literate. (Very good skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    • The successful applicant should be capable of assisting in formulating educational, child welfare and development policies for SOS schools and villages
    • Must be knowledgeable in Child Rights and Child Safe Guarding Practices
