    Hotel Human Resources Manager

    Salary: 50,000

    Overview:

    • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Human Resources Manager to join our team at Nanyuki. This role is critical to the successful operation of our boutique hotel and restaurant business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people management, a strong understanding of hospitality, and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture that supports our vision for exceptional guest experiences.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent, and provide a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
    • Employee Relations: Build strong relationships with employees, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
    • Training & Development: Design and implement training programs to enhance skills, promote growth, and ensure compliance with hospitality standards.
    • Performance Management: Lead performance review processes, provide constructive feedback, and support managers in employee evaluations.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health and safety standards, and hotel policies.
    • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Manage payroll, leave balances, and employee benefits while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Workplace Culture: Promote diversity, inclusion, and sustainability within the workplace. Foster a culture of teamwork and excellence that aligns with the values of hotel.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of HR management experience, preferably in the hospitality or service industry.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. HR certifications are a plus.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
    • Problem-Solving: Proactive and innovative in addressing challenges and improving processes.
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR management software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with hospitality operations, including hotel and restaurant dynamics, is highly desirable.
