    Lecturers

    The Department of Information Studies, School of Information and Communication Studies (College of Education), University of Ghana, invites applications for faculty at the rank of Lecturer and above to join the Department.

    Qualification Required & Experience

    Applicants must:

    • possess a PhD with specialization in one of the following areas:
    • Information Technology (with specialization in multimedia studies, publishing studies, social medial and networking)
    • Information Systems/Management Information Systems
    • Database Management Systems
    • Programming
    • Telecommunication
    • Web Technology
    • Automation/Computer Applications
    • Systems Analysis, Design and Evaluation
    • show ability to conduct scholarly research at the highest level
    • demonstrate potential to excel in teaching, as well as strong endorsement by referees
