    Operations Manager

    YOUR WORK-LIFE OPPORTUNITY:

    • As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence in the cities where we operate in Ghana.  
    • You will lead the team and help them build a top-notch supply structure, owning the operational KPIs of your cities, engaging with and retaining couriers (or glovers, as we like to call them), and coordinating projects across these geographic areas.


    BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:

    • Be the owner of the operational metrics for Ghana.
    • Understand, deep-dive, have under control and improve the supply status to ensure we deliver operational excellence and great customer experience.
    • Evaluate strategic opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses.
    • Implement, standardize and execute processes across all cities.
    • Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the global operations through out-of-the-box thinking.
    • Manage the operations team, you will hire, train and mentor them.
    • Maintenance and analysis of business reports and information to aid in the basic decision-making process of supply chain operational needs, including daily, weekly and monthly reports indicating full operational status concerning the flow
    • Identify channels to source new leads and potential Glovers through both online and offline medium
    • Analyze daily and weekly operation metrics with a macro view of the long-term success of the city
    • Develop analytical frameworks and models for your city and the region
    • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

    YOU HAVE:

    • Degree in Engineering, Economics or similar preferred
    • 4+ years’ experience and demonstrated past achievements in a fast-paced Supply Chain or Operations /Corporate Finance /
    • Consulting or related experience
    • Experience in on-demand delivery is not required, but a plus
    • Analytical skills are a must
    • Knowledge of SQL preferred
    • Results-oriented, autonomous and efficient
    • Leadership - you can motivate your teammates. You’re great at making tough decisions in a sea of ambiguity and keeping everyone on track
    • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
