    Operator

As a member of our Operations Team in Ghana, the Operator is absolutely integral to our platform. You will be responsible for accepting orders from customers, turn those orders into an efficient route plan and pass that route on to our dedicated drivers. It’s a job that requires organizational skills, as scheduling pickup of water, stocking of water and keeping track of filled and empty bottles are also a natural part of your workday. You’ll be gathering insights from our drivers and routes and help optimize our entire business: How do we perform? What could be done better? Where are we really good – and where do we need to improve? You’ll be part of a motivated and energized team to help shape one of the most exciting tech startups in Ghana.

    Your daily tasks could be:

    • Accept orders from customers and keep customers updated on their orders
    • Plan routes for drivers, including: Pickup of water, delivery of water, pickup of bottles, drop-off of bottles
    • Keeping documentation updated, making sure the we gather as much customer and driver insights as possible
    • Giving feedback on our current software and processes to make sure we keep optimizing
    • Assisting with keeping the business, office and general setup running

    WHO ARE YOU?

The Operator is a key player in the Wewater team: The contact point between our customers, drivers and business. You are naturally structured, great at multi-tasking – and enjoy when things move fast. You have a self-starting mindset and are not afraid to offer your support to others – or ask for support and help when needed. You’re curious to learn, eager to improve and enjoy being around people in a team that works fast and enjoy what they do. Most importantly, you are good with people and know how things work – both in the office and ‘on the street’.

It’s a definite plus, if you have a bachelor’s degree or similar, communicate excellently in English and maybe a local language and have 1-2 years experience from a relevant job. However, if you’re the right candidate, it’s not a must.

    WHAT DO YOU GET?

    • You’ll be part of a rapidly growing tech-start up in Ghana
    • Set the bar for our high-performing operations team
    • Amazing colleagues and a great work environment
    • Great possibilities for advancing your career and make a difference
    • A competitive salary and potential benefits
