    Warehouse Coordinator

    As a member of our Operations Team in Ghana, the Warehouse Coordinator is in charge of leading our warehouse containing a fleet of tribikes and our central stock of safe water. The aim of the position is not only to manage the flow of goods in the warehouse, but also to maintain our tribike fleet, making sure everything is in perfect state. Every day, every tribike must be stocked with safe water bottles and be ready to serve the needs of our drivers. The Warehouse Coordinator is the go-to-person for warehouse logistics and knows our tribikes and warehouse inside and out. With time, you’ll be leading a warehouse team, making sure that everything runs time-efficiently – and work closely with our Head of Operations.

    Your daily tasks could be:

    • Managing the stock and flow in the warehouse
    • Making sure, that there is always enough water on the shelves
    • Making sure that tribikes are stocked with water before departure
    • Making sure that empty bottles are sent back to water providers
    • Making sure that all tribikes are functioning perfectly

    WHO ARE YOU?

    The Warehouse Coordinator is a high-energy, self-starting and driven person with the capacity of making things happen in the warehouse. You know how to work structured and efficient – and you’re not afraid to solve problems by reaching out, thinking in new ways or simply asking for help. You’re a team player, you can motivate yourself and others — and are curious to learn. Most importantly: You want to make a difference in the world and help improve the lives of people in Ghana through safe water access. It’s a plus if you have 2-3 years of experience from a similar jobs, communicate well in English, have insight into mechanics of tribikes and a valid driver’s license – but if you’re right for the job, it’s not a must.

    Operator

    As a member of our Operations Team in Ghana, the Operator is absolutely integral to our platform. You will be responsible for accepting orders from customers, turn those orders into an efficient route plan and pass that route on to our dedicated drivers. It’s a job that requires organizational skills, as scheduling pickup of water, stocking of water and keeping track of filled and empty bottles are also a natural part of your workday. You’ll be gathering insights from our drivers and routes and help optimize our entire business: How do we perform? What could be done better? Where are we really good – and where do we need to improve? You’ll be part of a motivated and energized team to help shape one of the most exciting tech startups in Ghana.

    Your daily tasks could be:

    • Accept orders from customers and keep customers updated on their orders
    • Plan routes for drivers, including: Pickup of water, delivery of water, pickup of bottles, drop-off of bottles
    • Keeping documentation updated, making sure the we gather as much customer and driver insights as possible
    • Giving feedback on our current software and processes to make sure we keep optimizing
    • Assisting with keeping the business, office and general setup running

    WHO ARE YOU?

    The Operator is a key player in the Wewater team: The contact point between our customers, drivers and business. You are naturally structured, great at multi-tasking – and enjoy when things move fast. You have a self-starting mindset and are not afraid to offer your support to others – or ask for support and help when needed. You’re curious to learn, eager to improve and enjoy being around people in a team that works fast and enjoy what they do. Most importantly, you are good with people and know how things work – both in the office and ‘on the street’.

    It’s a definite plus, if you have a bachelor’s degree or similar, communicate excellently in English and maybe a local language and have 1-2 years experience from a relevant job. However, if you’re the right candidate, it’s not a must.

    Sales Agent

    As a member of our Operations Team in Ghana, the Sales Agent will help drive the recruitment of new customers to the Wewater platform, while making sure that existing customers are always happy and satisfied with our services. The position is two-fold: You will help shape the face of Wewater externally, make sure that people know about our services and brand, but also help shape the company internally. The Sales Agent plays an integral part in making sure that the office is running smoothly, that practicalities are working out every time and that we get the right offers and partners for the right services. In essence: To keep the business running as good as possible.

    Your daily tasks could be:

    • Shaping and running recruitment efforts for new customers
    • Performing customer service for existing customers
    • Help shape and partake in branded events for promotion
    • Get offers on different assets and services needed to keep the business running
    • Solving immediate issues for our fleet of drivers
    • Running errands
    • Report general customer satisfaction back to the team

    WHO ARE YOU?

    The Sales Agent is an outgoing person and a skilled problem-solver. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a natural flair for spotting ways to improve processes – and taking proper action. You’re not afraid to speak up and tell the team what’s on your – or our customers’ minds – and not afraid of asking for support or help if you need it. It’s needless to say, that you’re also a team player with the willingness and curiosity to learn. Most importantly: You want to make a difference in the world and help improve the lives of people in Ghana through safe water access. It’s a plus if you have a bachelor’s degree or similar, communicate well in English — or maybe even previous experience from a tech startup. However, if you’re the right person for the job, it’s not a must.

    Delivery Partner

    As a Delivery Partner at Wewater, you are running your own safe water business with the goal of delivering high-quality safe water to the people of Ghana. You’ll be provided with a fixed income, but also the opportunity to scale and run your business according to your own ambition and dream. You set the bar! You’ll get your own branded tribike and work closely with our warehouse to stock up and start delivering water to our customers. We’ll provide the route for you; and count on you to fulfil it as efficiently as possible. During your route, things may change, new orders may come in; and you’ll manage those changes while driving. Wewater is a new and exciting tech-startup and you’ll get the possibility to influence how we run things from day one. You’re not only delivering safe water — you’re helping Ghana and yourself to prosper.

    Your daily tasks could be:

    • Pick up tribike and water at warehouse
    • Stock tribike
    • Take orders from operations on routes and customers
    • Deliver safe water (20L bottles) to customers

You’re a self-starter, a dreamer, an entrepreneur with the urge of accomplishing more. You’re a problem-solver, who is not afraid of change, but able to manage unforeseen challenges. You see opportunities where others see obstacles and take pride in doing the job right. You’re a skilled communicator with a flair for great customer service and driving a business. It’s a requirement to have a driver’s license for a motorcycle, to speak good English as well to drive safely and to be able to handle 20L bottles of water… but that’s it.
