NAYA Naturals Limited is looking for a Quality Control Inspector responsible for making sure that products meet a set of standards and the expectations of the consumer. They perform assessment, documentation, and organization tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of their organization’s production and supply chain. Their duties include examining shipments of inventory and raw goods, measuring the specifications of random items in each production run to assess product quality, and training team members to refine product quality where necessary.
Objectives
Establish an acceptable variation range for products standards
Identify when something fails to meet those requirements.
Examine materials to make sure they meet quality expectations
Assess the final products after production
Document the results of product inspections and make recommendations on how to prevent common errors or defects.
Calibrate the equipment used in production to ensure accuracy on all processes.
Document issues in production and discarded inventory to measure the error rate for various stages in the supply and production chain.
Analyze production, raw material, and equipment data
Responsibilities
Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining the functionality of tools
Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures
Reviewing specifications to compare to produced goods
Recording inspection results and analyzing them by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database
Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
Proposing improvements to the production process
Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements
Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs
Developing and improving standard production, equipment, and process documents
Develop QC reports for Management
Qualifications
Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to coach and motivate employees
Exceptional time-management and organizational qualities to ensure all responsibilities are completed on time.
Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills to brainstorm quick and logical solutions.
