The company provides loans for pay-as-you-go (PAYG) solar power home systems to households that do not have access to an electrical grid.[4] The loans are repaid by customers in small increments, using mobile payment.

    Sales Associate

    The Sales Associate, PEG Water, is responsible for the sales of PEG Solar Water Solutions primarily to farmers, households and businesses in a defined sales region.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Achieve the agreed revenue and credit for the assigned territory
    • Advise on appropriate solar solutions based on customer needs or requirements derived from market interactions
    • Develop and pitch product presentations and conduct demonstrations to drive new  sales
    • Undertake a minimum number of business development calls/presentations per month (to be agreed before month starts)
    • Build a strong sales pipeline and maintain leads within the assigned territory
    • Function as the primary customer experience contact for new customers within the territory
    • Work closely with technology and installation teams to ensure end-to-end customer experience/satisfaction
    • Provide customer and market insights from the territory

    The successful candidate must have:

    • Bachelor’s degree/HND in any field
    • Minimum 3 years’ B2B/B2C sales experience
    • Ability to negotiate at a Senior Management level
    • Ability to work effectively under little supervision
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong personal selling and presentation skills
