    Sales & Customer Service Associate

    About the job

    Sales Associate Duties and Responsibilities

    • Greet customers and engage customers
    • Provide appropriate product recommendations
    • Ensure merchandise is in-stock and displayed on shelves in a presentable manner
    • Use a point of sale (POS) system to conduct purchase transactions
    • Promote and sell NAYA products instore and at various marketing events
    • Seek out customers by sharing flyers and cards around the mall or event grounds
    • Assess customer needs and wants; answer customer questions and concerns
    • Build relationships with customers, especially regular customers
    • Team up with co-workers to plan in-shop marketing activities to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Educate customers on skincare and our product use
    • Follow shop policies and opening and closing procedures thoroughly
    • Assist in product inventory management procedures
    • Learn product information to cross-sell and upsell products
    • Memorize in-store promotions and special offers in order to communicate to customers
    • Make suggestions on ways to improve sales and boost revenue
    • Go the “extra mile” to drive sales
    • Manage inventory and customer delivery

    Sales Associate Requirements and Qualifications

    • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree a plus
    • Strong customer engagement and communication skills
    • Proficiency in French is a plus
    • Basic math skills
    • Friendly, approachable personality
    • Punctuality
    • Ability to perform and sell under pressure
    • Flexible schedule (i.e. available to work weekends and/or holidays)
