    Senior Food & Agribusiness Managing Consultant

    Farrelly & Mitchell empowers some of the world’s most ambitious food and agribusiness companies and agencies to make the right decisions. With expert insight, local market intelligence and solid recommendations, we build and implement sustainable strategies that allow our clients to restructure, transform and grow. The Company is headquartered in Ireland and has offices in Riyadh and Dubai. 

    Due to the continued growth in demand for our services in West Africa and wider sub-Saharan Africa, a position has arisen for a suitably experienced senior manager to lead and develop the establishment of a new office in Accra, Ghana. The successful candidate will be currently working in a senior role in management consulting, private equity or a multilateral agency. Importantly, you will be a self-starter, commercially driven with a strong desire to play a central role in the establishment, growth and development of Farrelly & Mitchell in Africa. 

    This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual who has the motivation and drive to participate and benefit from the growth of Farrelly & Mitchell’s services in the region. 

    The role will involve working closely with the Managing Director and the senior team to drive new business development and oversee project delivery. Candidates should have a proven ability to develop new business within the professional services / investment sector and a solid understanding and keen interest in food and agribusiness. Relevant contacts and network within food and agribusiness and related investment and multilateral sectors would be a distinct advantage. 

    The successful appointee will be a high-performing individual with a professional and sound commercial approach, a strong analytical mind and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A relevant university qualification at honours graduate or postgraduate level in agriculture, food, business, economics or a related area is required.
