    Site Reliability Engineer

    • The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based IT infrastructure. This includes designing and implementing solutions to improve the availability, scalability, and security of our systems, as well as monitoring and troubleshooting issues that may arise.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience working with AWS.
    • Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
    • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java).
    • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch and ELK.
    • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps principles.
    • Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP and technologies such as VPNs
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable systems
    • Implementing automation and tooling to prevent and mitigate system failures, using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
    • Monitor and analyze system performance to identify and resolve issues before they impact customers.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery and operation of projects.
    • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage of our systems.
