Software Development Engineer at Dalex Finance and Leasing Company Limited

A reputable and successful financial institution, Dalex Finance is seeking to fill the position of Software Development Engineer. This role will be responsible for developing information Systems by designing and installing software solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyse, design and develop tests and test-automation suites.
• Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.
• Test software development methodology in an agile environment.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1st Degree in Computer Science, Software Development or related field.
• A minimum of 2-years’ experience in similar role.
• Pass a selection interview conducted by a designated body.

Knowledge / Skills expected

• Frontend / mobile technologies (Java, JavaScript’s-HTML-CSS) and its frameworks (e.g Angular, Vue, ReactJS , Blade )
• Backend technologies ( PYTHON, NodesJS, Java, PHP and its frameworks (ASP.net, Django, Spring, Express)
• Version Control
• Restful services
