Technical Support Professional – Network and Security Specialist at IBM

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert in supporting F5 load balancers with Big-IP LTM & ASM
• Perform daily operational tasks submitted by customers
• Install, configure, and maintain network device hardware and software
• Prepare network or infrastructure Visio topology diagrams, write Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance plans and provide status reports as required, participate in data calls and other operational and maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot network problems, network device configurations and coordinate with various department administrators to facilitate connectivity issue resolution
• Ensure SLAs & Operational KPI are met
• Work as necessary with internal and external support functions where major incidents occur.
• Attending and contributing to team and project meetings
• Contributing to the improvement or standard procedures and documentation
• Monitoring of Network & Security Device ticket queues, Network & Security device performance, Network & Security equipment integration with systems

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant program – additional Certifications a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of CISCO Network Devices, Force Point, F5 & Palo Alto experience.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) . Additional certification in Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) shall be an added advantage
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer will be an added advantage
• Must possess in-depth knowledge of Cisco, Forcepoint, F5 & Palo Alto configuration and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical skills– the ability to assist in resolving various systems issues for multiple integrated locations and systems.
