    Strategic Finance Business Partner - YODA

    Job Description 

    • In this role you will act as the strategic financial business partner for Programme Y.O.D.A. You will be required to work with the Programme Y.O.D.A managers as well as the wider Plan International Finance Team to support financial reporting and forecasting.  
    • You will ensure resources are maximised and provide support to Programme Management Office and Programme Sponsors in assessing financial implications of their activities to ensure financially sound business cases for their new initiatives, a commercial approach to their operational delivery and a strong understanding of their own budget and expenditure and the drivers and implications of variances to enable agile response and reprioritisation as appropriate.
    • You will also support in the assessment and development of a financial strategy to ensure financial sustainability. As well as ensure resources are optimised to enable best value for money delivery of objectives and enhance our values-based approach to leadership through a customer service focused business partnering approach.

    To be successful in this role you will be:

    • Ideally educated to degree level in finance or economics, related working experience 
    • Strong commercial analytical skills 
    • Customer focussed, business partnering experience 
    • Experience of business case creation and project management 
    • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW or recognised equivalent) 
    • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical colleagues

    Global Project Finance Controller

    Job Description

    • In this role as the Global Project Finance Controller you will lead a team of 4 -6 Project Finance Account Managers to ensure monitoring, support, and continuous improvement of financial management aspects of all Plan International’s projects (Sponsorship, grants and other funded) throughout the ERP transition.
    • In this global role you will provide Project Finance monitoring and support to colleagues to ensure they are able to fulfil the financial aspects of projects efficiently and effectively to maintain adherence to Plan International grants finance management standards.

    To be successful in this role you will need:

    • Strong and demonstrable understanding of Projects Financial Management and donors’ financial requirements, ideally gained in INGO in countries of implementation and in Regional or Global Hubs.
    • Skilled in leading and managing cross-cultural, geographically dispersed team of finance experts.
    • Ability to inspire trust and support from others, able to build rapport with wide range of groups
    • Takes responsibility for workload and achieving significant results.
    • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW/CIMA/ACCA or internationally recognised equivalent) – part-qualified accounting degree will be considered too.
    • Capacity in Spanish and/or French is highly desirable.

    Project Manager - Change Management

    Job Description

    • You will be reporting into the Change Management Lead for Programme Y.O.D.A. working across the programme, providing excellent project management of all aspects of the Change Management pillar to strengthen and complement the overall delivery of the transformation journey.
    • The Change Management pillar requires significant engagement with stakeholders from Country Offices (CO), Regional Hubs (RH), Global Hub (GH) and National Organisations (NO) as part of change readiness, business strengthening, as well as a communication and engagement to reach staff from across Plan International.  
    • The project manager will work alongside the Build, Readiness, Strengthening, Deployment, Infrastructure, Test and Functional Teams as well as working closely with the PMO. You will therefore work closely with functional and technical specialists and need to engage closely with Project Managers in other pillars to ensure clear articulation and acceptance of dependencies as well as ensuring that you are linked into the key communications, engagement and change management outputs that are required by each of the pillars.
    •  You will also need to ensure the 2-way flow of information from the Programme out into the wider Plan organisation, but also most importantly from the Organisation back into the Programme to help inform stakeholder analysis and readiness concerns.

    About You

    • The successful candidate will be a process oriented, customer focused, multi-tasking individual with a proven track record in delivering effective project management in support of organisational transformation and change.

    Additionally, they will also have:

    • Proven experience of managing significant, complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a context similar to Plan International
    • Project Management skills using a variety of formal methodologies such as Prince2
    • Proven experience in the use of computer-based Project Management tools such as MS Project and Visio
    • Strong analytical, planning, organisational and problem-solving capability
    • Excellent collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills, and be able to build cooperation and negotiate compromises and priorities
    • Effective decision-making abilities in relation to systems and/or processes especially within a changing environment
