    Senior Human Resource Officer

    About the role

    • The Senior HR officer will be responsible for supporting the human resource function in delivering effective people management practices that align with the fast-paced business operations. The Senior HR Officer will coordinate recruitment, performance, employee relations, training, and compliance while ensuring a high-performance culture and employee engagement across all branches.
    • This role demands a proactive and highly organized individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a solid grasp of HR best practices, and the ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on operational HR work.

    Key Responsibilities

    Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

    • Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and develop job adverts.
    • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes to ensure timely hiring of qualified staff.
    • Coordinate and participate in interviews and selection processes.
    • Supervise onboarding and induction of new hires to ensure seamless integration.

    Performance Management

    • Monitor performance evaluation cycles i.e. probation and end of year and ensure timely reviews across all departments.
    • Effectively track underperformance and support performance improvement plans.
    • Track performance outcomes and recommend development or corrective actions as necessary.

    HR Administration and Operations

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (contracts, payroll data, leave records, performance reviews).
    • Ensure HR data integrity in the HRMIS and other platforms.
    • Manage HR documentation and ensure confidentiality of employee data.
    • Monitor headcount, contract renewals, and probation confirmations.

    Employee Relations & Welfare

    • Serve as the first point of contact for employee grievances, concerns ensuring timely resolution in line with company policies and known best practices.
    • Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and feedback mechanisms.
    • Support disciplinary processes in line with labor laws and company policy.
    • Manage for medical insurance enrolment and timely resolve all raised concerns.

    Learning & Development

    • Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
    • Facilitate internal mobility and career development plans.
    • Track progress on individual development plans and training outcomes.
    • Coordinate and evaluate training programs to ensure alignment with business goals.
    • Support the development and retention of high-potential employees.
    • Support internal mentorship and coaching efforts.

    Compliance & Policy Implementation

    • Ensure HR policies and procedures are understood and followed by all staff.
    • Keep the company compliant with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.
    • Support internal and external audits from an HR perspective.
    • Ensure all HR practices meet legal and ethical standards.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
    • Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CIPD, SHRM) is an added advantage.
    • At least 3-4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth organization. Fintech/ Financial service environment will be an added advantage.

    Field Technician

    About the Role

    • As the Field Technician, you will be responsible for the administrative and mechanical maintenance of the company\'s assets. This will involve installing, monitoring, and tracking company assets through the installed monitoring devices.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Asset Readiness & Disbursement

    • Inspect all company assets on delivery, make an assessment that they are in good mechanical condition, receive the assets, and sign a delivery note based on what has been received.
    • Report any delivered damaged/ faulty assets to the Branch Executive, Procurement Officer, and General Manager.
    • Immediately after offloading newly received assets and accessories, capture and record them into the ERP system. 
    • Ensure all assets are well branded, placed in secure storage, and organised systematically to allow for easy and timely access during disbursement.
    • Ensuring all company assets ready for disbursement are captured and recorded in CRM and ERP, active and traceable on the Tugende dashboard.
    • Ensure all disbursed company assets and accessories are picked and packed on the disbursement date.

    Inventory and warehousing management 

    • Recording of all second-hand bikes returned to the Branch.
    • Update the inventory register with the specific details of the assets and accessories held in stock at the branch (Brand, Colour, Value) in the ERP.
    • Ensure that the inventory kept at the branch is well maintained in a clean and organised manner.
    • Ensure both the physical and ERP inventory registers tally at all times.
    • Uninstall the GPS tracker unit from the completed assets.
    • Ensure GPSs are available for installation in regards to planning based on current stock and advising procurements on restocking.
    • Keep track of inventory levels and share snapshot reports as required from time to time.
    • Ensure that GPS units are availed to the Tugende  branches

    Document Management 

    • Ensure all delivery notes of all assets, accessories, and spare parts are signed, scanned, and kept on file in both soft and hard copies at the branch.
    • Ensure picking lists are generated from the ERP, signed by the client, and records kept at the branches. 
    • Daily reconciliation of the physical stock and the system to ensure that there are no asset losses or gaps with the system.

    After Sales & Asset Servicing and Maintenance 

    • Ensure all client and staff assets are active and traceable on the dashboard at all times.
    • Ensure all clients and staff assets are maintained in good working condition at all times.
    • Maintaining a tracker of clients and staff assets at all times.
    • Ensure inspection of assets is done and recorded before repairs and services are updated on the CRM Database.

    Work Experience and Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience with motorcycles and car assembly, and repairs.
    • At least one (1) year of working experience as a mechanic with a reputable organisation or institute.
    • A Diploma in Automobile Engineering, or Motor Vehicle mechanics, obtained from a certified and recognised institution of learning.
    • Should have a valid riding licence.

    Technical Skills and Behavioural Attributes

    • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
    • Ability to interpret & understand technical diagrams and manuals
    • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
    • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
    • Knowledge of health and safety issues related to motorcycle use, including electrical, mechanical, and chemical risks
