    Accountant

    Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to oversee and manage the full accounting function of their organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in receivables, payables, invoicing, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must, and the candidate should be available to join immediately.

    Key duties & Responsibilities:

    • Manage the full accounting department operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
    • Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
    • Handle accounts payable, including verification and payment of vendor invoices.
    • Prepare, issue, and track invoices to clients.
    • Perform bank account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
    • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
    • Generate financial reports and assist management with budget preparation.
    • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other financial stakeholders when required.

    Requirements

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
    • 3–4 years of proven accounting experience.
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory).
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

    Mechanical Engineering Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Plan, supervise, and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of all mechanical equipment (kiln,   crushers, mills, conveyors, fans, compressors, etc.)
    • Oversee mechanical-related capital and plant improvement projects, including installation, upgrades, and refurbishments.
    • Monitor equipment performance and maintain an effective equipment history and maintenance record
    • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure availability of critical spares and optimize inventory levels.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities through efficient use of resources and optimized maintenance strategies.
    • Promote a safe working environment to ensure zero lost time accidents and compliance with statutory requirements

    Requirements

    Minimum qualifications;

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
    • 5 years of experience in a mechanical maintenance role
    • Registered with the Engineering body (ERB)
    • Excellent planning, execution, and organizational abilities
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Troubleshooting skills on equipment failure.

    Employee Relations & Administration Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Enhance harmonious relationships between the management and workers.
    • Arbitrate conflicts and disputes among the staff and between the employees and management.
    • Develop, review and implement HR policies and procedures from time to time.
    • Report and follow up injury compensation claims for the employees from the insurance and ensure compliance with   Workers injury benefits act (WIBA 2007).
    • Conduct and enforce disciplinary actions in accordance with the company rules and regulations and labor laws.
    • Liaise with the Ministry of Labor and FKE on matters pertaining to trade, disputes and other labor-related matters. 
    • Oversee the management of the company's medical scheme and medical services provision. 
    • Process workers' benefits and claims on time to enhance morale and their satisfaction
    • Update and advise the company on new and changes in labor laws and ensure their compliance by the company.
    • Coordinate sensitization of workers on work place vices.
    • Provide counseling to staff on work-related issues.
    • Conduct and render technical advice to the management on office space allocation and utilization, office furniture, and     equipment-existing and proposed.
    • Manage costs for company usage of utilities such as water, telephone and electricity.
    • Oversee the provision and proper management of office supplies.
    •  Ensure high standards of cleanliness and proper organization of office spaces.
    • Oversee management of other office services, including tea and drinking water.
    • Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements

    Minimum qualifications;

    • Degree in social sciences
    • Must be a CHRP K holder.
    • Registered member with IHRM
    • Diploma in industrial relations, Counseling Psychology is an added advantage.
    • Over 5 years in handling HR matters, particularly employee relations and enforcement of Labour laws.Industrial disputes resolution skills

    Process Engineer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collecting data required to make improvements and/or modifications
    • Carry out process optimization through plant and instruments audits
    • Investigating and troubleshooting plant/process problems
    • Liaising with quality control to ensure inputs are optimal and to control product quality
    • Offer technical support to operations team to overcome process bottlenecks
    • Scheduling and coordinating work to tight deadlines and within financial budgets
    • Ensuring that equipment works to its specification and to appropriate capacities
    • Liaising with installation/project engineers and specialists on new equipment installations
    • Ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation

    Requirements

    Minimum qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in chemical and process engineering
    • At Least Registered with the Engineering body (ERB)
    • 7 years of working Experience in the cement Manufacturing Industry.
    • Proficient in using ERP systems
    • Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with computer aided auditing tools
    • Excellent presentation and report-writing skills
    • Ability to troubleshoot & solve engineering problems.

    Internal Auditor

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute audit engagements using the risk-based audit methodology and in conformance with the Global Audit   Standards.
    • Perform data analysis, highlight exceptions and document audit findings.
    • Prepare detailed audit reports, give recommendations to resolve the audit findings, and obtain management comments   from the auditee with clear timelines on implementation.
    • Follow up with the auditee, and implement of corrective action to close out the audit findings.
    • Review company standard operating procedures to enhance the internal controls embedded in these procedures.
    • Undertake special/ad-hoc/investigative reviews and issue reports for management action.
    • Conduct compliance reviews, highlight compliance violations and propose measures to mitigate compliance risks.
    • Collect and document appropriate and sufficient audit evidence in a working paper file to support the audit findings.
    • Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

    Requirements

    Minimum qualifications;

    • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (accounting or finance major).
    • Professional certification in any of the following CIA/CPAK/ACCA/ CISA.
    • Member of ICPAK and any other professional body (IIA/ISACA).
    • Over 5 years of experience in audit or finance, 3 of which should be practical experience in internal or external auditing.
    • Experience in ERP systems.
    • Good communication skills (both oral & written).
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent analytical skills and Knowledge of computer-aided audit tools.
    • Excellent presentation and report-writing skills.
    • Unquestionable character and integrity.
    • Good team player, self-motivated, creative, innovative and focused.
