    Collections Analyst (Contract)

    About the job
    Description Role purpose:

    •  Responsible for managing and collection all the outstanding accounts receivables form clients and customers. In addition, be responsible for other aspects of collections, resolve customer billing problems and reducing the amount of accounts receivables. Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership 
    •  Ensure compliance to dunning policies to curtail churn 
    •  increase cash by collecting all current revenue and not more than 5% of aged debt should be more than 90 days
    •  Contribute to curtailment of Bad debts through Faster & higher collections in 30-60 buckets and higher recoveries in 90+ buckets 
    •  Ensure that on a monthly basis, all customers in your base receive their bills and are set up on ebilling
    •  Meet retention target through customer issue resolution 
    •  Ensure 100% of dispute resolution before next billing cycle from the month raised
    •  Adjustment & Reconciliation to be completed before the next bill cycle from the month raised
    •  Work with Account Managers to ensure that all terminated accounts are stopped from billing and adjustments passed
    •  Ensure dunning process is strictly followed and defaulters disconnected on all synced platforms 
    •  Ensure accurate reporting of your collections
    •  Prompt logging of Payments made by customers

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

    •  Contribute to decisions on Collections in Vodafone Ghana and meet monthly collections target
    •  Prepare personal collections forecast weekly based on allocated accounts for reporting
    •  Comply with all companies rules and policies
    •  Perform other requests made by line manager,
    •  Report all collections related issues to line manager and recommend improvements 
    •  Visit customers for the purposes of mediation, negotiation and debt collection Liaise with Sector Account Managers to ensure all customer grievances relating to collections are resolved or escalated where necessary

    Must have technical / professional qualifications:

    •  Must have a bachelor’s degree minimum
    •  Knowledge in Accounting
    •  Public accounting or Private industry experience
    •  Prior revenue recognition experience is required
    •  Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience is required 
    •  Relevant experience includes Finance, Auditing or Revenue Recognition experience in a Telecoms Company 
    •  Must have understanding of financial statements and financial systems
    •  Ability to create accurate reports to meet internal reporting and analysis requirements
    •  Possess strong communication skills both verbal and written adaptable to all levels of management 
    •  Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload 
    •  Possess a high degree of initiative, drive, confidence and ability to enjoy fast paced work environment 
    •  Professional, flexible and team oriented 
    •  Exposure to wireless and/or telecom industry desired

    Cyber Security Specialist

    Role Purpose 
    The purpose of the role is to manage the Technology Security Governance, Risk, Compliance and Assurance needs across Vodafone Ghana. 
    To further provide security assurance, guidance and support to high profile projects according to company defined policies and requirements, best practice and local/international standards (PCI, SOX, ISO27001, GDPR, POPIA and Cyber Crime Bill of 2015) relevant to the technology security area. 
    Job Responsibility 

    • Provide accurate and timely reporting of technology security risks identified during project engagement and propose remediation and mitigation options
    • Participate in creation and execution of technology security strategy
    • Ensure alignment of information security governance with the Vodafone Ghana’s business objectives, the information security strategy, plans and controls
    • Ensure compliance with the applicable legislative and regulatory interpretation and corporate risk appetite;
    • Lead, develop, manage, and maintain the network-wide information security governance deliverables lifecycle including compliance measurement, deviations, and exemptions 
    • Engage with the stakeholders on compliance to control effectiveness and deficiencies in the design and operating effectiveness of information security controls, design and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement 
    • Interpret and manage the controls and capabilities required for Vodafone Ghana to establish and comply with an information security management system in alignment with information security international best practice and/or industry standard(s) 
    • Develop, manage, and implement the Vodafone Ghana information security audit and assurance plans and schedules, including any specific business needs and requirements (including PCI, ISO27001, GDPR, POPIA, Cyber Crime Bill) 

    Professional / Technical Skills

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or Technology or other related fields 
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Tech Security role 
    • Knowledge of technology management/compliance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, SOX, ITIL, COBIT, and NIST 
    • Knowledge of legal, regulatory and privacy requirements, such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Protection and Payment Card Industry (PCI)/Data Security Standard 
    • A diverse security background with knowledge in several areas including layered security architecture; internet protocols; firewalls; VPN technologies, IDS/IPS, network access control and network segmentation, anti-malware and spam technologies; risk and vulnerability assessments, and compliance
