    Knowledge Manager, Conservation, Adult Learning

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    • Be part of the Conservation Knowledge Unit as a ‘centre of expertise for conservation knowledge’ - connecting people to both find and share knowledge and experiences within and across Departments, Practices, and the broader Division.
    • As part of the WWF Knowledge Unit be the focal point for adult learning approaches for conservation practitioners
    • In collaboration with the other Conservation Knowledge Managers, help WWF practitioners learn for impact throughout their journey in the organisation, facilitating access to existing and new knowledge, and building institutional knowledge -working with Practice Teams, GCD Departments, Network Conservation Connectors, Focal Points, Global and Regional Expertise and partners.  
    • In collaboration with other divisions champion and support implementation of a Learning Management System to enhance learning and development.
    • Undertake specific responsibilities amongst the knowledge managers team according to their expertise, locations and capabilities. 
    • Organise frequent and structured interaction within the conservation community to ensure effective knowledge development, capture and transfer guided by the needs of WWF’s network strategies; sharing of lessons and learning for impact; identifying synergies and skill building towards innovative solutions.
    • Build and maintain relevant ’virtual communities of practice’ where people connect, share and learn knowledge – that drives a culture of continuous improvement – using online platforms, collaboration and communication tools. 
    • Accompany a staff’s journey within the organisation with knowledge tools and processes (from when they join the organisation to when they leave). Develop onboarding tools for new staff and establish links and synergies to onboarding efforts across the organisation. 
    • Develop and manage processes and tools to effectively capture and share lessons from the ‘field’ – working closely with Focal Points & other Practice members. Map existing knowledge content/expertise and identify gaps – and develop a KM strategy to maintain up to date knowledge content and fill gaps where necessary.     
    • Support and enable selected WWF’s Communities of Practice as effective learning and innovation communities to raise conservation impact.
    • Lead the network in getting good at virtual engagement to continue to build a learning organisation.
    • Lead on internal newsletter production and organised and up to date information sources for the Practice, such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, and calendar.
    • Support the development of the annual GCD Knowledge Management survey with WWF's Communities of Practice.
    • Contributes to Special Projects and undertakes such duties as may be assigned by the Head Conservation & Knowledge, including duties linked to the Global Conservation Committee.

    PROFILE

    Required Qualifications.

    • Degree in Information science, adult learning or other relevant knowledge management discipline OR a degree in conservation, environmental management, international development, or a related field. 
    • Extensive relevant experience in knowledge management, preferably in a global conservation or international development context.   
    • Experience working in international networked organizations, collaborating across functions, teams, and offices

    Head, Strategy Delivery & Performance Improvement

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    • Actioning Strategic Insights
    • Collaborate with others to translate strategic, performance and risk management insights into opportunities for improvement and gaps in strategy execution.
    • Work cross-functionally to determine the drivers and levers for improvement and articulate clear, implementable recommendations, solutions and/or action plans at the CO, regional or divisional/global level.
    • Partner with Regional Operations Directors and Global teams to sequence delivery actions, assign roles, and support follow-through.
    • Develop lightweight tools, checklists and guidance that help CO teams adopt improved practices without additional reporting burden.
    • Targeted Strategy Delivery and Enablement Projects
    • Through actioning strategic insights (in above), identify priority strategic, performance or risk management initiatives at the global or regional level
    • Lead selected time-bound improvement initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
    • Support COs to plan and embed change management approaches to ensure adoption of improved delivery practices.
    • Track delivery progress, troubleshoot risks, and ensure practical, tangible results.
    • Coordination Across Teams
    • Align global, regional and country-level enablement and improvement work with regional delivery rhythms and COD operating guidance.
    • Connects COs with enabling functions (finance, HR/talent, operations, legal/risk, PMEL/data, partnerships, resource mobilisation) to secure fit-for-purpose support at the right time.
    • Support CO leadership and delivery teams to build execution discipline (workflow routines, decision cadence, follow-through).
    • Supports CO leadership to navigate trade-offs, stakeholder alignment, and communications that sustain execution momentum.
    • Work alongside the Head of Impact to ensure CO improvement efforts reinforce PMEL principles and use shared performance insights, without duplicating PMEL responsibilities.
    • Monitoring Uptake & Learning
    • Capture emerging practices and replicable solutions from CO implementations and share across regions.
    • Maintain a simple improvement log and progress view to inform leadership decision-making (no new governance cycles).
    • Curate peer learning exchanges focused on delivery (distinct from PMEL learning communities)

    PROFILES

    Required Qualifications.

    • Education:Advanced degree or equivalent experience in management, international development, organisational development, or a related field.
    • Experience:Minimum 10 years enabling strategy execution, delivery enablement, or organisational effectiveness in complex, multi-country or matrixed organisations.
    • Consultant management:Experience managing consultants or short-term experts to deliver targeted outcomes.
    • Sector knowledge:Familiarity with conservation and/or international development and mission-driven networks is preferred.
    • Regional/global exposure:Experience working across diverse cultural contexts and geographies.

    Specialist, Operations Accounting

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
    • Reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
    • Contribute to identifying process improvement opportunities within operational accounting to increase efficiency and minimize errors.
    • Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements, and escalate issues when needed.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accurate data and meeting reporting deadlines.
    • Collaborate with other teams to support smooth financial operations and provide relevant financial data for decision-making.
    • Help maintain financial systems, ensuring accurate data entry and resolving system-related issues.
    • Provide support for audit preparations and compliance reviews by ensuring the availability of required documentation.
    • Maintain a high level of financial accuracy and help team members understand operational procedures.

    • Carries out other duties, as and when required, assisting with ad hoc projects and tasks as requested by the Head, of Accounting.

    PROFILE 

    Required Qualifications.

    • A university degree in finance/accounting or minimum a commercial diploma or equivalent, possibly with an emphasis on Accounting and Finance (e.g. “Handelsakademie”, commercial school, Bachelor Economics / Accounting);
    • A minimum of five years’ experience in finance & administration in a multi-cultural environment.

    Executive Assistant to Chief, Country Offices Division

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage schedules in such a way that the Chief COD is able to complete his obligations in an organised, efficient way
    • Manage a highly complex calendar spanning multiple time zones, navigating limited availabilities, shifting priorities and sensitive, high-level commitments. Ensure optimal scheduling by anticipating constraints, coordinating across global offices, and maintaining accuracy, discretion and responsiveness in all planning.
    • Anticipate needs and provide high-level, tailored administrative support to the Chief COD including research, answers, screens and follow-up on inquiries and multiple incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Chief COD, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature;
    • Provides precise execution of administration support for meetings and conferences including structuring the agenda of meeting, facilitation and coordinating travel arrangements, if required, taking notes and preparing all relevant documents and organising the work streams for the Chief COD;
    • Manages special projects in close relationship with the Chief COD’s agenda independently. Prioritise and lead multiple projects at a time, and follow through on issues in a timely manner;
    • Supports relevant high level global executive committees, such as the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee, Finance and Investment Committee, Network Conservation Quality Committee, Network Development Committee, Quality Assurance Committee, relevant Communities of Practice etc.;
    • Coordinate internal and external meetings including but not limited to team meetings, staff meetings, all hands meetings, off-site meetings, one-on-one meetings, etc.;
    • Emails, edits correspondence, reports and documents and creates spreadsheets and presentations based on familiarity with subject matter, and refers others to appropriate staff member or department;
    • Organises international travel/accommodation, including negotiating fares, visas, costs, air-mile/CO²calculations and itineraries;
    • Partner closely with executive assistants across the whole organisations to plan and execute meetings and global events;
    • Oversees budget and manages Chief COD's expenses (Oracle) and makes sure expenses of Chief COD's direct reports are approved and submitted in a timely manner;
    • Undertakes other tasks as assigned and carries out duties relying on own initiative and independent action to assist with scheduling and completing work assignments.

    PROFILE

    Required Qualifications.

    • Secretarial/Administration diploma from a commercial college or equivalent. At least 5-7 years’ relevant experience as executive assistant/secretary to high level executives.

    Specialist, Country Accounting & Compliance

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with the review of accounting deliverables for assigned countries, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
    • Support in maintaining compliance with Swiss GAAP FER and organizational policies to maintain high financial reporting standards.
    • Assist in the review of  internal controls to safeguard financial data.
    • Identify risks and findings from reviews and share them with relevant stakeholders to ensure they are addressed.
    • Suggest ideas to enhance accounting processes across Country Offices.
