    Offshore EHS & Security Coordinator

    Job Description

    • Monitoring and strongly advocating compliance with Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights
    • Ensuring safe launch and recovery drills of Fast Rescue Daughter Craft (FRDC)
    • Executing the safety of the patrol teams whiles onboard the FRDCs
    • Executing that patrol teams are trained to a competent level ideally so that they can operate the FRDCs independently.
    • Managing the deployment and movement of daughter craft by maintaining communication with coxswain of daughter craft and advise. Intercepting and escorting intruding fishing canoes and vessels out of the Exclusion Zones.
    • Monitoring and ensuring the readiness of EHS&S vessels and equipment or systems under contract scope to meet performance standards of the vessel.
    • Overseeing the continuous training of the ship’s crew on the deployment of Oil Spill and ensuring that response equipment in line with the vessel’s scope of work

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • Merchant marine officer with an STCW Class 2 Deck Officer certificate
    • BOSIET Certificate with HUET certificate
    • MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training) certificate
    • An advanced qualification in OPITO Fast Rescue Craft (FRC)/RYA powerboat OR, STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boat/Survival Craft & Rescue Boats
    • A NEBOSH O&G (or equivalent internationally recognized) qualification
    • An IMO Level 2 Accredited Oil Spill Response Certificate
    • A Marine Mammal Observation.
    • A qualified ISPS Ship Security Officer or Port Facility Security Officer (STCW 2010).

    Job Requirements

    • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with five (5) years of experience. Merchant Marine Officer with an STCW Class 2 Deck Officer certificate. BOSIET Certificate, HUET certificate and MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training) certificate. OPITO Fast Rescue Craft (FRC)/RYA powerboat OR, STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boat/Survival Craft & Rescue Boats.

    Job Description

    The responsibilities of the role also include:

    • Developing contracting strategies for contracts and purchases including the establishment of Framework Agreements with regular suppliers, rolling up of multiple contracts with the same supplier and exploring global purchasing opportunities
    • Reviewing specifications and Scope of Work for completeness and enabling user functions to translate their requirements into a clearly articulated expression of commercial intent.
    • Developing, compiling and conducting pre-qualification exercises, pre-tender meetings, an invitation to tender documentation, tender openings and evaluation of tenders received, including a detailed analysis of commercial and contractual qualifications, exceptions and deviations
    • Negotiating contractor and supplier-based terms and conditions
    • Providing ad-hoc support to User functions on post-award contractual interpretation and administration matters coupled with contract provisions including explanations on processes, penalties, and compliance terms to Users
    • Develop and implement a Local Content strategy within the Contractor, Supplier or Vendor base having regard to recommendations given by the Local Content team.
    • Completing Supplier Due Diligence in line with overall Supplier Due Diligence policies.
    • Ensuring governance and compliance obligations are fully addressed and documented

    Job Requirements

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering or management related field; a Master’s degree or membership of CIPS will be an added advantage.
    • A minimum five(5) years experience in a similar role with demonstrable experience in contracts formulation and negotiations
    • Experience in Category Management, Strategy Sourcing, Executing negotiations

    Senior Business Analyst

    Job Description

    • Undertaking discounted cash flow analysis of all GBU assets and communicating results and analysis to stakeholders.
    • Supporting annual business planning process for BU, coordinating with Planning, Finance and Asset teams.
    • Preparing economic and commercial sections of Venture Reference Plan(s).
    • Providing gas pricing modelling and analysis to support gas strategy and gas sales negotiations.
    • Providing economic support and insightful, quality analysis for commercial decisions, negotiations and submissions to Government bodies.
    • Participating in economics and commercial discussions with the Government of Ghana entities as required.
    • Preparing and delivering economic analysis for senior management and BU exploration team.

    Job Requirements

    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in an Exploration and Production Company with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance or Engineering.
    • Experience in providing economic support for commercial decisions, negotiations and submissions to Government bodies.
    • Proficient using Palantir modelling software or demonstrate the ability to learn quickly Highly skilled in Excel modelling.
