    Field Enumerators for URBAN WASH Core Study

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • The Field Enumerator will be responsible for filling the household survey questionnaire with a mobile-based platform, which enables easy electronic data collection.

    Specific duties of the field enumerators include:

    • Travel to urban communities as per research protocol.
    • Determine respondent eligibility and collect written informed consent.
    • Perform household survey and record data on mobile phone.
    • Participate in quality assurance procedures.
    • Conduct translation for qualitative data collection (as needed).
    • Perform other tasks related to the fieldwork that may be assigned by the Research Officer.

    Required Skills or Experience                          

    • Fluency in at least two of the following languages: Twi, Ga, Hausa, Dagbani, Kokomba/Lekpapa.
    • Fluency in English.
    • Previous experience using a phone-based data collection platform.
    • Ability to conduct household surveys and key informant interviews.
    • Experience working on previous sanitation research will be an added advantage.
