    Software Development Officer

    • Design and develop Windows and web applications
    • Design and develop Mobile Apps (Android, iOS, Windows, etc.)
    • Design and Create Application Databases
    • Maintain and Optimize Databases.
    • Evaluate application security and ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability is implemented in software components.
    • Propose authentication methods, password policy, encryption methods, etc.
    • Manage the delivery of system development projects from analysis, through design to release.
    • Define delivery phases of the project including activities, sub-activities, and milestones ensuring these are documented and used as the basis for the project.
    • Ensure availability of logs in all managed applications including event log issues, risk log and any subsequent reporting
    • Participate in reviews and meetings and providing updates on project progress
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new modules and functionalities as may be required
    • Work with the team to design application solutions that fully implement business requirements.
    • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and system testing as needed
    • Research into emerging technologies and tools.
    • Perform Systems benchmarking, Audit and Troubleshooting.

    Qualification and Requirements

    • A minimum of a first degree in Computer Science or a related field  Minimum of 4 years relevant working experience in Software Development

    Senior Systems Administrator

    • Provide IT services to the various companies in the group.
    • In charge of business continuity and disaster recovery within the department as well as the recommendation and implementation of new investments within the technology infrastructure.
    • Assume responsibility of oversight of the entire group IT network and system infrastructure ensuring proper configuration, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of security firewalls, sites/software, servers, data and file encryption, and internet connections.
    • Play a mentorship role to System Administrators, promoting their professional growth.
    • Play a strategic role in the IT of the Group where he/she coordinates the selection, implementation, and upgrade of the business’s software/applications and services.
    • Lead the process and team members in the analysis, enhancement, and tailoring of current practices and existing systems in order to increase operating efficiencies as well as reduce and cut costs within the business.
    • Ensure consistency and maintainability of existent infrastructure environments through the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of well documented standards and procedures for the implementation of technical solutions.
    • Work closely with the General Manager, IT in gathering feedback and developing insights that will lead to the improvement of IT services.
    • Keep track of licensing on all IT related items.

    IT Security Officer

    • Protects computer assets by developing security strategies; directing system control development and access management, monitoring, control, and evaluation
    • Perform information security risk assessments
    • Manage security policies and procedures that will ensure adequate protection and use of information
    • Advises senior management by identifying critical security issues; recommending risk-reduction solutions.
    • Establish and oversee the organization’s IT security architecture.
    • Conduct electronic discovery and digital forensic investigations.
    • Work with other stakeholders to establish disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans.
    • Propose the draft of main information security documents
    • Coordinate IT risk assessment processes throughout Vokacom and its subsidiaries
    • Provide consistent education on the relevance of information security across all levels of employees
    • Notify top management about the main risks and advise on all IT security matters

    Group Head of Finance

    • Oversee the management and coordination of all financial reporting activities for the group including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports.
    • Assist the CEO with the cost-benefit analysis and obtaining funding for various initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization.
    • Regularly monitor and work closely with management in taking timely action to ensure that budgets and financial plans stay within approved levels.
    • Manage the daily cash balance and invest excess funds to achieve the most lucrative rate consistent with company policy.
    • To provide support in the preparation of business plans and other financial forecasting for other ventures of or being considered by Vokacom.

    Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and Operations

    • Supervise the accounting departments of the various companies to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software. Provide regular maintenance and backup of all accounting systems and supervise company financial staff.
    • Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all tax returns and manage all tax related issues.
    • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
    • Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation.
    • Liaise with HR to establish clear organizational structures and succession plans aligned with appropriate responsibilities, accountabilities and personal development for all staff

    Partnerships and Networks for delivery of Strategy

    • Manages Relationships with External Auditors, Banks, SSNIT, Ghana Revenue Authority and Regulatory Officers on relevant issues and Suppliers.

    Communications & Reports

    • Coordinate, analyze and report the financial performance to the group CEO (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required) to enable him fully understand the financial position of the Group.
    • Prepare and submit quarterly reports on work performed for management and Board attention

    Educational Level: Working Experience:

    • A first degree in Accounting, or a relevant field
    • A Chartered Accountant from ICA or ACCA
    • A Masters’ Degree in Finance is a bonus
    • At least At least 5-6 years’ experience in Accounting and Finance management related roles
    • Experience in treasury management is an advantage

    Executive Assistant to CEO

    • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including: managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
    • Communicates with the general staff on the CEO’s behalf and coordinates logistics with high-level meetings both internally and externally
    • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO including those of a sensitive or confidential nature and determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.
