Maintenance Manager - Ghana at Globe 24-7

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a gold mine development in Ghana.

The Company:

Our client is a well-known gold producer in Africa. The company's current focus is on the development of their underground gold mine. This is an exciting time to join the operation and Globe 24-7 has been selected as the recruitment partner to assist with the sourcing process for this position.

The Role:

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager who will develop and implement underground fixed & mobile plant maintenance activities, while also overseeing maintenance of mine infrastructure development. You will be building the maintenance teams, provide technical input for planned construction and refurbishment works and carry out inspections throughout the development process to ensure HSE & QA/QC.

Skill Requirements:

• An experienced Maintenance Engineer with 10+ years of experience
• Experienced in surface & underground mining operations
• Experience with Maintenance and Repair Contracts (MARC) or Mobile equipment
• Skilled in Dewatering maintenance process
• Experience with Winders, Hoist and Shaft maintenance work
• Experienced with continuous improvement, asset management, RCBM
• Proven management, mentoring and leadership skills
• Financial, commercial and project management skills
• Experience in management and QA/QC on contractor work
• User of SAP & PM modules

Certificate/ Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Maintenance/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Professional Certificated Engineer with a relevant certification body
• Must possess Engineering Managers Certificate of Competency from Mineral Commission of Ghana
