ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The Condition Monitoring Supervisor is accountable for coordinating all condition monitoring functions of underground equipment, surface support infrastructure and the processing plant which includes analysis and reporting on Vibrations, Thermography, Oil Analysis/Diagnosis, Laser Alignment, Pump efficiency/audit, NDT, and technical support for engineering department.
The role holder supervises activities of condition monitoring/NDT technicians and assists the Reliability Engineers in developing, implementing, and reviewing equipment maintenance strategies, implementing reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) tactics, defect elimination projects and work management systems in order to improve equipment reliability and enhancing the integrity of assets by implementing world class best practices.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Analyze and trend predictive maintenance data (vibration, IR, etc) to determine plant condition and report this condition for action.
- Monitor general physical condition of plant assets and report.
- Monitor preventive and corrective actions as necessary.
- Generate work requests in SAP as required for maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Perform routine condition monitoring tasks on all the rotating equipment by data collection using advanced portable data collectors and other tools according to the established schedules and also as per the plant requirements.
- Gather information on vibration & other data collected in order to diagnose / troubleshoot rotating machinery problems.
- Identify, communicate, and implement potential cost reduction initiatives.
- Propose cost savings projects.
- Execute work in a timely manner
- Monitor equipment performance on asset health system and take proactive measures to address symptoms of potential failure.
- Stop equipment from working if there exists a high risk or unsafe to be used.

ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The Engineering Manager - KMS Underground is accountable for the development and implementation of Underground Fixed Plant Infrastructure maintenance, including Material Handling System, Rail System, Mine Services Water Distribution, Dewatering and providing oversight on KMS Winding and Shafts system and other production related equipment through the application of operational engineering policies, standards, systems and procedures to maximise plant availability in a sustainable cost-effective manner and minimize operational risks to meet the business’ strategic objective.
The role supports the delivery of Phase 3 in Obuasi Redevelopment Project. The role reports to the Senior Manager - Engineering
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Ensure delivering infrastructure requirements consistent with the procurement and contracting strategy addresses construction time, cost, and quality risks.

- Manage new build/refurbishment and installation contractor and an AGAG maintenance workforce to deliver works that meet cost, schedule, and quality expectations
- Develop and maintain the Engineering Management Plan, as a key Project Execution Plan sub-plan in the area of accountability
- Provide input and support into establishing and maintaining Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), budget, schedule, and operational work packs for life of mine activities.
- Oversee the Requests for Information (RFI) and Technical Query (TQ) process, review and approve appropriate technical and non-technical documentation.
- Design strategy and processes to maintain the optimize mining operations in relation to schedule, achieving monitoring of all critical intermediate milestones.
- Set the standards so that process control and operational technology work carried out by the engineering and maintenance team is of a standard that supports the operational requirements of the equipment and is at optimum cost.
- Prepare the sectional budget that supports the company’s objectives and strategy.
- Ensure cost impacts in the area of accountability are evaluated, approved, and budget is revised.

The Safety Officer - Surface will implement and improve processes to monitor the implementation of Health and Safety (H&S) policies, programs and initiatives related to Surface Operational Safety including management or performance of the work necessary to ensure adherence to safety regulations, completion of safety training, and attainment of business values and objectives. The role is also accountable for the daily management of the H&S departments including the budget in these areas as well as coordinating, planning and managing the implementation of programs with other departments and stakeholders. “Surface Safety” refers to all above ground areas in Obuasi Mine including Mining, Processing, tailings dams, water processing plants and common roads and buildings, etc.

The Accounts Officer - Receivables is to provide direct output support to the Superintendent: Payable & Receivable and assist in the accounts payable & receivable functions which includes cash flow forecasting creditors’ payments, bullion shipment & accounting, creditors and debtors management. To give confidence in the Mining Plan by reviewing and interrogating existing data from the life of mine process and produce realistic designs that enable plans and schedules to be produced at the required standard for short-term planning and production systems.

ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The Water Management Superintendent will ensure the water management strategy will be the frame worked and operated within. Periodic assessment of water use and subsequent recommendations as well as approval will be required from the Water Management Superintendent for improvement works. He /she will also serve as the technical advisor coordinating with relevant consultants to ensure underground dewatering, surface water treatment facilities, operating TSFs integrity are intact and alert on any concerns.

ROLE PURPOSE AND CONTEXT
The purpose of the role is to monitor, control and adjust the section in which they are operational, under the supervision and authorization of the Sectional Leads, so as to fulfill the operating purpose of the section for the shift.
The operators are responsible for controlling and recording various parameters such as tonnage throughput, temperatures, slurry density, reagent mixing and dosing. This role is being augmented with a SCADA system which aids the operator in many of these functions. The Plant Operator, in conjunction with the Control Room Operator, must understand the current plant situation, compare it to a desired situation and be able to adjust or control the plant to either return to optimum performance or be maintained in the optimum state.
The plant operators are also responsible for the housekeeping and are tasked to conduct certain maintenance functions such as checking cyclone measurements and ball loads in the mill. Housekeeping operations may not be specifically limited to the areas in which the operators are assigned, and the operators may be called upon to assist with housekeeping in any section of the plant or mine as needed.
