    Procurement Supervisor

    About The Job

    Purpose

    • To provide strategic support to the Atlantic Quarry and Concrete teams by evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient, high quality and delivered on time.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure adequate flow of services and products needed by the business.
    • Analyze suppliers and their capacities.
    • Ensure optimal efficiency and reliability of the procurement processes.
    • Negotiate supplier agreements, prepare contracts, and manage tenders.
    • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and strategic supply partners for business continuity.
    • Track and record orders
    • Prepare requisitions and purchase orders.
    • Weekly and monthly reports to management on the entire procurement function

    Competencies:

    • Knowledge of overall supply chain management & procurement practice within construction/manufacturing/mining environment is an ideal
    • Ability to demonstrate integrity.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • HND/Degree in Purchasing and Supply or Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution
    • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role

    Inventory & Stores Supervisor

    About The Job

    Purpose

    • The Inventory and Stores Supervisor will provide and maintain inventory, request new items, properly store items and track their shelf life.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Oversees the inventory tracking system to record receipt and issues of production materials completed stocks, shipments, current stock levels and any defective goods.
    • Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
    • Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages to advise key stakeholders.
    • Ensures orderly storage of incoming shipments and finished goods; maintains detailed records of available products and their storage locations.
    • Conduct analysis of inventory discrepancies and collaborate with operations to mitigate recurrence of issues
