Engineers work in an array of fields to estimate, interpret, develop and evaluate large-scale, complex systems. This could mean improving and maintaining current systems or creating completely new projects from scratch. Engineers will design and draft blueprints, visit systems in the field and administer projects. As for technicians, If there are any complications or changes required in a particular system, such as forgotten passwords, viruses or email issues, the technician will be the first person employees will come to. A technician's tasks may include installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical problems, either over the phone or through physical contact.
